About CliffWise

CliffWise is a free educational site for U.S. households trying to understand retirement tax cliffs before moving money. The flagship calculator focuses on 2026 IRMAA brackets, Roth conversions, required minimum distributions, Social Security taxation, and federal tax estimates.

The goal is simple: make complicated retirement interactions easier to see. Many retirees do not have just one tax question. A Roth conversion can affect taxable Social Security. A larger IRA withdrawal can affect Medicare premiums. Future RMDs can push income into a higher bracket. CliffWise puts those interactions in one planning view.
